Mitchell's best friend Angela aged 15 years old at the time of her fatal accident in a vehicle and a car, also wrote about her incident. Mitchell was devastated by this and wrote the song Angel to Angela on her debut album. In the 7th Heaven Episode Nothing Endures But Change and in Chicken Soup for Preteen Soul she also talked about the experience.
