Mary is also well-known for her part in the reality TV show Storage Wars Texas. She is often referred to as the Junkyard Queen' or The Junkster' Mary is known for her collections of antiques that she gathered from estate sales, auctions and storage units. Mary's journey to fame began when she earned her degree as a photojournalist at Architectural Digest, under the directorship of Paige Rense. Then in her latter years Mary found her own page titled Mary Finds. She made videos on the home's renovations and decoration. After that, she relocated to Texas and began her own business with the same name. A&E Television spied her in her antique shops, and she was invited to be a part of Texas Storage wars. This show lasted three seasons. In the 5th season, her popularity led her to being cast on Storage Wars. Storage Wars season 5 was her first time appearing on the show.
